![]() ![]() Longsword + 3 pushes the lane too much to be safe but is an option against cheeky AP's as they often can't help pin Ren down whenever their jungler comes to gank. They have much more overall value than a Doran's Shield, which doesn't scale at all and sells for only half the price 3 Beads would - even less if a Bead is built into Tiamat!Īnother starting option is Celerity + Boots + 4, which is better than it sounds considering Arcane Comet but unfortunately Celerity is about to get reworked to not scale with boots (I believe?) and to not do anything for Renekton at all. They offer 12/5 regen on Ren at level 1, scale quite a bit as the laning phase goes on and sell for 105 gold each! Sell them whenever ~105g will afford a big purchase or even T1 boots. Starting items are.three beads? Yes! Three Rejuvenation Beads. TP is an option against cheeselords like Teemo/Panth. Gathering Storm would be a good alternative if games ever last longer on average than they do now or if it ever gets a major buff.įlash/Ignite and maxing Q first is core. Scorch helps alongside Comet to whittle down opponents early. ![]() Second Wind and Overgrowth give him scaling sustain and tankiness that also works with his ult so that he's always pretty tough to kill, and Nimbus and Absolute Focus make him a very good initiator and extra dangerous alongside his burst. The great thing about Arcane Comet on Renekton is it opens up a lot of options for starting builds that make use of his good runes that Renekton doesn't normally have access to. BC is definitely an optional 2nd+ item though as AD teammates certainly appreciate it. Either a Lifesteal item or Tiamat -> Sterak's are best bought first, prioritizing finishing their damage components before HP/Vamp Scepter as HP and sustain aren't nearly as cost-effective early on in laning phase for Ren with this build. Q them early and often!īC is actually NOT the first item built here as this build leaves Renekton unable to go balls-to-the-wall early in lane considering the scaling runes and the lack of Conqueror, leaving him wanting more raw AD and sustain instead. In lane, harassing with Q whenever the enemy laner is in range is key. So it resets extremely quickly around multiple targets or even if Renny's only sticking to one. Very fun regardless!Ĭomet's good on Camille early, and it's good on Renekton as well for a similar reason: he can take some scaling runes and let Comet carry the laning phase through his Q/E - EXCEPT it's pretty good lategame as well as it procs off his R AoE per champion! It's usually only ~7% of his champion damage by midgame but its effectiveness in lane alongside the inclusion of Sorcery runes is a huuuge boon for Renny.Ĭomet procs from Q, E, and every tick of R's AoE damage, per target hit. Arcane Comet guide for Renekton! Mostly casual as I'm only Gold this season but I almost exclusively played Renekton this season and was on a convincing winstreak (to me, at least) involving every one of these item builds before posting this. ![]()
